New Gmail Spam Prevention Policy from 1/2

Starting from 1st February 2024, Google will require all Google Workspace users need to authenticate their emails to ensure a safer, less spammy inbox. The new guidelines include SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings and add unsubscribe buttons or links in emails. If these policies are not followed, you may face…

  1. Emails can not be sent, and recipients will not receive your emails…
  2. Emails may be classified as spam and sent directly to the spam inbox, resulting in recipients missing the mail…
  3. Recipients might see security warning notifications, leading to a decrease in trust…

he implementation of the policy will be in three stages:

From February: If bulk senders do not comply, emails may not be successfully sent…
Before April: If any sender does not comply, emails may not be successfully sent…
Before June: All promotional business emails must incorporate a one-click unsubscribe feature
